  Anybody ever try to take all the menus of local restaurants, most of which are in PDFs, and build a custom search engine? If I want to find all the local places that serve bronzini, google ain't a big help, for instance. I'm guessing yelp isn't either. Why can't you search top ranked dishes -- and not just restaurants-- in a city? Any search experts out there care to offer insight?

  http://www.foodandtechconnect.com/ is the best one put there... They really do have coverage everywhere food tech happens.
