  Hello, I hope this is ok to post? Myself and friend are looking into the possibility of setting up a boardgame cafe in Leeds. We are keen to come visit you as part of that but while we get that sorted can I ask, what would make you come into Leeds to visit the cafe? Any general comments, ideas or suggestions on board game cafes are welcome too.

  Hi Joseph, that's an interesting idea. I wonder if there is enough critical mass in the hobby around Leeds to sustain such a cafe, but you would certainly get my patronage. The closest thing to a boardgame cafe existing today would be 'http://outlawsyachtclub.com/' which does have some games available to play, so it would be worthwhile checking with them about footfall. The things i would like to see in a cafe: - Good sized tables - Coffee/cakes/snacks - Selection of games to cater for most needs - A pricing model which doesn't make the experience overly expensive - The ability to buy games are reasonable prices if we like them You are more than welcome to come along to the club, we are a friendly bunch :) There is another group you will wish to contact: http://www.leedsmeeples.org.uk/ Thanks Chris
