  We previously used Matthew Foti Tree Services for some large tree work at the recommendation of my neighbor, who knows more about plants and trees than me by easily two orders of magnitude. This Old House also used Foti Tree Service, so that says something. Last year, Matthew Foti semi-retired and chose Bartlett Tree Experts to take on the primary tree services his business used to provide. I am sure this selection was done with a great deal of care, but I haven't used Bartlett yet. http://www.fotitree.com/
