About us
My name is Susan Stripling, and I`m a New York and Philadelphia wedding photographer. I specialize in creative, timeless wedding photography with a modern appeal. I am best known for my creative approach to composition, my documentary style of capturing natural moments, and my heartfelt dedication towards customer service. Since opening my studio in 2001, I have photographed hundreds of weddings worldwide. For each of those weddings I strive to create beautiful, natural photographs of naturally occurring moments, stunning portraits, delicate detail images, and dynamic reception images.
I am also honored to be a leader in the photography industry with regard to educating working photographers by teaching them to strengthening their business, marketing, workflow, and shooting ability. I have taught for wedding conventions such as WPPI and Mystic Seminars, have given small group and private workshops, have written numerous books and educational materials for photographers, and have been a frequent teacher for online educational powerhouse Creative Live.
New york photographer Hey guys, new poster here. My fiancee and I were hoping to take some glamor photos in New York for our wedding this summer. We love pictures within an urban context that emphasize the history of the architecture. We’re not sure which shots we would like yet and we would love some ideas from you guys.
So to get to the point of this post, we were also hoping to find a photographer to help us take these shots. We don’t know much about photography so we can’t really give any in-depth requirements on our end. We will most likely be in NYC late May of next year. If anyone knows a photographer they’d like to recommend please send me their info. We’re basically running blind here.
Thanks all!

Hiya! I'm in NYC, and I'm at www.susanstripling.com. I hope your trip is great!
Looking for MA, NY, or FL-based photographer! I'd love to hear any recommendations for a wedding photographer based in either Massachusetts, New York, or Florida! We're looking for photographers that have a documentary, journalistic style with photos that look film-like, but not too dark. Budget is ~5k.
I feel like I've already exhausted wedding wire, the knot, and instagram in my search, so I'm hoping to find out some new names from you all!

Susan Stripling, susanstripling.com. My wife and I are wedding photographers and she was our photographer. She's widely regarded as the best in the business, super awesome to work with and she doesn't deliver a single bad photo.
Tampa friends: Can any of you recommend a good wedding photographer? Our first choice is booked already on our wedding date.

For weddings, I've recomended Inga Finch. She's not in Tampa, but she does frequently travel throughout the state (www.ingafinchphotography.com). Inga was trained by my wedding photographer Susan Stripling (www.susanstripling.com), who lives in New York now and I think is probably one of the best in the business. They have a photo journalistic style that I like.
