I'm trying to find a place for my dog! I can't keep him. Does anyone know a place for dogs I could take him where if they can't find a good home for him. They will not (put him down or harm him in any way) ????????

The Siskiyou Humane Society does a behavior evaluation before accepting dogs only to make sure they can handle the kennel environment, then they schedule for when kennels become available. They do not eutanize due to length of stay, but this is why there is sometimes a waiting list for animal intakes. Call 926-4052, maybe they can help. Steve Yniguez, which "animal shelter" did you call?
I need help here..I have someone working with Mars to get dog/cat food and supplies up here. I gave them the Siskiyou humane society number as a contact number. They aren't able to get through.. They emailed me back needing numbers of affected animals and a contact person they can deal with to make a donation happen. Who do I send them too???
