  Marie Y. wrote: This contractor can be very unprofessional. I paid $1600 upfront for a pathway. Later the same day, we decided we really needed to use the money elsewhere and I contacted Chris Veronie asking him to not deposit the check. He said he had already mobile deposited the money but would send me a check as soon as it cleared out he bank. He never did. It has been 6 weeks and I am still out the $1600. He rarely responds to our calls and texts, but when he does it’s always some excuse and a promise to pay right away, but the money never shows up. I should have just stopped the check but I trusted Mr. Veronie when he said he would send the money back right away. I feel so stupid to have trusted a liar and a cheat.
