  I understand plumbers are expensive. To me they are worth it because I loathe fixing nasty plumbing issues. But sometimes you get a bill and you do a double take. I recently hired Rotor Rooter to unclog a pipe that I could not fix myself. It cost me $350. Maybe that's a standard rate? After all they have great service and perhaps that is reflected in the rate. It just felt a bit too expensive. Who do you use for plumbing services?
