  In response to your recent post about Indigo Ranch, I am the resident employee and I just checked our files but was not able to find a client history for a Lea Cathey Zinzer (unless she changed her name). More importantly, in six years of being in business, we have had a total of four “playground scuffles” at Indigo Ranch that resulted in minor injuries. Sometimes, when they are in a doggie day care or any other environment where dogs are allowed to play together and socialize, the play escalates into a scuffle. Any doggie daycare or “open boarding” facility will confirm this. Safety is paramount at Indigo Ranch and the staff is always with the dogs and able to immediately separate them if a scuffle starts. There has never been a dog “mauled” at Indigo Ranch and in the case of the four dogs with injuries, we took all of them to the vet immediately and paid for their care. Small dogs stay in our exclusive “Tiny Dog Dorm” and have their own play yard so they don’t have to worry about big, happy dogs bouncing over the top of them. As always, we welcome anyone to come out to Indigo Ranch and tour with us. You will be able to see that the dogs aren’t together constantly, in a chaotic environment. We have a schedule and routine, and the dogs are separated by energy level. They are also evaluated for temperament beforehand and aggressive dogs are not allowed to board with us.
