I have a lab and a pit mix so they have very high energy and cannot handle just being in a kennel all the time. They will let very anxious and pull out their hair or lick themselves raw so I am looking for places that they won't be locked up and can get plenty of exercise and maybe even be able to play with other dogs.   Not sure where your located in kc but we take both of our dogs to elkhound ranch(it’s up north). They also are pit mixes and very high energy and they do very well at this kennel. They have kennels that open to the outside and you can opt for your dog to get playtime outside too(with or without other dogs) to help get the energy out.
