  Mona F. wrote: Annual service last week. I went on-line to get their phone number last week to schedule the appointment. I was distressed by the negative reviews on whodoyou.com, thinking their level of service had possibly declined. I took a chance and scheduled the appointment. Their level of service was, and continues to be exemplary. I can’t imagine the roofs they will not climb to clean chimneys. Mine is metal, relatively steep, and was covered with seasonal pollen. They had no problem climbing on roof and providing the service at my home. They were prompt and courteous. Their fee was fair. The problem with reviews is people with negative experiences never have to submit facts to back up the alleged poor service. Therefore, I submit this review in an effort to portray this company’s level of service in the positive light it deserves.

  Crystal L. wrote: My experience was the exact same as the other review here. Have never heard of a Chimney sweep that refuses to get up on your roof. He had a bad attitude and clearly didn’t want to do anything other then collect the service charge.

They don't repair or service fireplaces, although when setting the appointment he told me he does, Gave me a window between 9 and noon for our appointment, then called me at 1:45 to tell me he was running late. Then came to the property and didn't even notice where the chimney was and didn't know what I meant when I told him the "spark arrestor" was missing. I don't think he knows what that means! Then he complained that the chimney was too high and he doesn't replace chimney caps but he would do it for ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS!!! I asked if he could make the fireplace functional for gas, ie install burner and logs..."Well, I don't do that, I'm only a chimney sweep, But when I reminded him that he TOLD ME HE SERVICED FIREPLACES, he suggested doing it for FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS!!! Then had the gall to charge me $45.00 to do absolutely nothing but make me late for work...Don't let this person anywhere near your fireplace!

  I was recommended to call Mile High Chimney Sweeps for service on my traditional fireplace. My appointment is later this week. Not sure if he does gas too, but worth a call 928-445-8563
