  We are seeking an electrician who is willing to work as a consultant on our 1910 home, empowering me (no pun intended) to do a bunch of the grunt work, and personally do the more technical stuff. I have a good idea of what needs to happen, but do not want to burn down the house. Ideally this person is South End based to make it easier for weekly check-ins. Any ideas?   My dad is a retired electrical contractor. You could call him and ask if he has ideas for who would be good. I don't know, he may be willing to do the "consulting" too. I don't think he can do the actual work anymore as he shut his company down when he retired and won't have a business license anymore. But he is super nice and can probably at least give you some contacts. His name is Tom Dailey. 329.2182. He lives in Montlake, so quite nearby.
