They're 20+ years old and in the last 2 years my outside unit has shown that it won't last much longer. Can anyone share their experience with the cost. I know what to expect generally but would like some better ideas as to what you all may have paid living in the Boone county area. I have a 1 story home with an unfinished basement I think it's about 800 sq ft per level.

  Need recommendations on HVAC dealer/installers? Our furnace is 20 years old and stopped working. Apparently the circuit board has gone bad and will be $500 to fix. There are some other deficiencies with our current system and so we are getting bids on replacing the entire thing. We've already received a bid from Chapman but proper due diligence means I need to at least get 2 more bids.
