  Ok Tri Cities friends! Looking for a sound, reliable and trustworthy transmission shop for my Lexus. So far I'm not impressed. The shop that I was told to tow it to has been an utter fail up to this point. They left it unlocked on an open lot with the lights on letting the battery die. (That is also the towing company's responsibility.) They also promised to call me by Christmas eve to let me know what might be going on and no phone call. (I get that it is Christmas, but I've worked two solid days since then myself.) I've had two bids from two different places. One for $5100 from an auto repair shop here in town that I use regularly, and $3100 from the dealer. I called another shop who told me that they don't trust any transmission shop here in town and recommended the dealer. Help!

  My brother-in-law Jeff Faries owns Genesis Automotive. They only work on Toyota & Lexus vehicles. I would call him or his partner, Brad Solbrack 582-6544. They are usually in by about 7:30 am.
