OK, I'm in need of advice again... :-) Our home is an older (1972) split level home that we remodeled when we moved in 4 years ago. Most everything was updated, but there is one issue that I need some help resolving.
We have a fireplace (insert) downstairs, and every time we build a fire, our home fills with the sweet smell of sewage... :-( I know the fire draws air from the house and creates a backdraft as the air goes up the chimney, likely pulling the gases from a leak in a vent line...maybe? Does anyone have a suggestion for someone I could call in the Boise area (plumber with knowledge/ability to track down the source of the leak/smell at a reasonable price)?
