It is in excellent condition and seems to be working great, but I am likely going to sell it and want to make sure everything is fully operational and hopefully get an estimate as to its worth (since I could not find the exact same model online). I live near Tysons, but am willing to travel a bit if need be. I considered Liljenquist & Beckstead, but they got very mixed reviews and appear to be very high priced. Any recommendations?

A friend has one in storage and is giving it to me but I have to have it picked up and repaired before bringing it home.   Herndon Clock and Watch...he can do the repair if necessary and he can probably prepare it for moving. All you have to do to move it is to take off the weights and pendulum. There *should* be a clamp that keeps things from moving when it is moved. It might be better to move it first and THEN repair it. Dung Lam: 703-709-0234. He does have very specific hours that he can come to your home and he books up fast.
