  Looking for recommendations for somewhere special in the Hampshire area for a 90th birthday meal in early December for 16 people. Thinking somewhere that will have a nice atmosphere around Christmas time, perhaps a private dining room or somewhere we can decorate around the table a bit.. it's so difficult with a December birthday to find somewhere that has anything other than a set Xmas menu option, or allows big bookings/private rooms except for Xmas meals/parties. One last requirement, menu has to be vegetarian friendly and with some simple options for those fussier eaters! Everything I've found with the right sort of space seems to be all 'foie gras' etc with very limited choices! Thanks for your help
