  Does anyone know of a place in the Louisville area that offers the MSF rider's course? I am in an Army ROTC program, and we have some Cadets that ride. The Army requires us to take the MSF course, but the Army doesn't offer their free MSF course to Cadets like they do for regular Soldiers.

  Abate of Indiana gives the course every weekend at CC Powers ports in Clarksville,In. Just across the river. The course is good for Indiana and Kentucky. Go to Abateonline.org

  I have a band called Tight Rope. You can see video's of the band on my page. We would love to play at the Bean Blossom boogie. Dose any one know the contact for who books the bands for it? Thanks :)

  Nancy is correct. The event known as the Bean Blossom Boogie moved from that Bean Blossom location about 13 years ago to just south of Bloomington and dropped that part of the name to just be called the BOOGIE. Balls started up a new event and has been calling it Bean Blossom Bikerfest and it is located on the properity that was next to the old Bean blossom location. You will have to go to there web site or FB page to contact them about that event and they do take local bands. The BOOGIE. does national acts and local acts. but to be fair ( cause everyone knows an awesome band ) the local acts play on a "day stage" where the national acts play on the main stage. The day stage acts are chosen by each region acording to the year. Odd numbered regions choose a band on odd years and even numbered regions choose a band on even years. So like this year it is 2015 and all odd numbered regions ( 1,3,5,7,9,11,and 13 ) all get to pick a band. They are allowed to do it any way they want to . Here in Region 11 ( greater Indy ) we have a Battle for the Boogie that will be taking place in 2 weeks on the 25 th at the Rock House on the south side. Other odd regions are also having or had a Battle but some choose in different ways. Our battle is full having 12 bands competing. Our winner will play the Boogie where there is another battle and that chosen band will open in 2016 on the main stage for a national act. You would have to contact each odd region to find out who might still be in the choosing process to try to get in.
