  PLEASE tell me if you know of any doctors that take Medi-Cal I'm so desperate. I had to pay $333 for my prescription this month because it was prescribed by my old psych, who isn't even able to fill out a treatment authorization request because he's not a Medi-Cal doctor. I *cannot* find a Medi-Cal doctor to save my freaking life. I've called them and gotten the list of providers, but you have to search the phone numbers yourself, and every doctor I've found and tried to call has somehow been a wrong number or I can't find a number at all, or they only take certain Medi-Cal plans but not "straight Medi-Cal" which is what I have right now...I guess I'm going to get a list of plans to choose from soon? This whole process has left me frustrated beyond belief. If you have any Medi-Cal doctor/psychiatrist recommendations or just general advice please let me know!

  You could try n apply for Kaiser. They except Medi-Cal. Member Services could help guide you. 1800-464-4000.

  Call member service and speak with member outreach they can help you. Also there is the autism center in Rancho Cordova. You can call them to ask. So says the Kaiser advice nurse with a 19 year old asd non verbal son! 800 464 4000

  Rosalie, Kaiser insurance cannot be used outside of Kaiser. Check with Kaiser though as sometimes they have partners they refer you to or services they may not provide. I'm not sure if chiro is one of those partner services. You can call member services at 800-464-4000
