  Are there any local beekeepers on here, who would be interested in helping us move a hive (there may actually be two of them now)? We've got a good one (love having them for all my plants and flowers) that's been in our 2 story deck supports for about 4 years now. We would like to get them out so we can access the honey, and be able to take them with us if/when we are able to move to land. Also, most homeowners may not want a hive of honey bees buzzing around if they are looking at our house. ;) Please message me if you have any advice or would be interested in helping for a fee/trade/something.   Moving - re-moving them with the expectaion of hiving them this time of year has almost zero chance of success. The best thing would be to gather them - forget about the hive and honey - gather them so they can be combined with someone elses hive that may be under populated.
