Getting a cracked aluminum alloy wheel repaired. Thanks to winter potholes and reckless driving on my part, one of my low profile aluminum alloy wheels has a small crack in it. When I lived in Jonesboro and the same thing happened (you'd think I'd learn my lesson) I was recommended by a local tire shop to visit someone locally at their personal shop. It cost me under $75 and a few hours of my time to get a small crack soldered back together on my aluminum alloy wheel.
Now that history has repeated itself a few years later, I'd like to know if there is anywhere in NWA where I can do the same. I was recommended one guy by a friend, but when I called him he advised me to ship the wheel to somewhere in Kansas City, which I really do not want to do. So, is there anyone local that can repair a slightly cracked aluminum alloy wheel that will not require me to ship the wheel anywhere?

Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists 1-877-859-4335 They are mobile and go around to dealerships, so you will probably just leave your car at a nearby dealer. http://www.awrsmidwest.com Just a heads up though, last time I used them it was closer to $150.
