  Any suggestions of what bars/pubs might be open on a Saturday in the afternoon in November for an "old boys pub crawl"? For about 15 years we have done the beaches but Queen Street from Broadview to Carlaw has so many new places we would like to try out but many don't open until early evening. Again OLD boys pub crawl so we normally start in the afternoon. I'm hoping to move this 'crawl' to Leslieville. What is open on Saturday afternoons for a beer? If we HAD to we could start later.

  I can highly recommend Sarah's at the corner of Monarch Park and Danforth http://www.partywithus.ca/ before you migrate down to Leslieville for the early evening openings. In addition to the comfortable dining /bar area, they also have a large private back room for groups...you could totally launch your crawl from there! Warm comfortable and laid back vibe, awesome service, great selection of beer, food and appetizers at reasonable prices. Give them a call, I'm sure they'd be happy to talk about hosting your kick-off! Don't be intimidated by the "Bistro-Inspired" message on their website, it's a really comfortable place for any group of people! (p.s. NO I don't work for them, I was just really impressed during a recent visit!). Have fun on your crawl!
