  Hi Jamie - we're over on Bay Ridge, and our home really needed a lot of insulation work. We had the external walls dense-packed, the attic done, and more. Rockweiler is a great company - no doubt about it, but we went with Westring Construction in the end. The extent of knowledge and their approach to energy efficiency (as well as working hard to solve some issues found with our home, without racking up a huge bill), was extraordinary. I would at the very least take a bid from them. http://www.westringconstruction.com/ It sounds like our home, the way you describe it - I'd love to offer any advice or just tell you more about what we did that worked, and didn't work - since we sunk a lot of money into solving problems with this regard.
