  The filler tube for fuel is probably worn and a replacement is needed. It is easy and cheep to do. Your carb needs to be adjusted and you need a tune up . Also I would HIGHLY Recommend changing ALL gas lines they are probably shot also, and you don't want your bug to torch.Hope this helps . I live in walden NY otherwise id be right over. http://www.mamotorworks.com/ has good parts fast. Darryl
