Can anyone recommend an online bakery for a pub I visited this week? The Flowing Spring PH, Henley Road, Reading have a really good gluten free menu but want to provide nicer breads. Thanks
Can anyone tell me where I can buy gf white bread & pizza bases or pizza that doesn't taste awful? My son loves his bread but doesn't like any of it from the free from aisle. I have tried to bake myself but it was a disaster!

I love the shar ones. They do some lovely little ciabatta rolls that you can heat up in the oven. Also wheat free bakery tiger loaf is amazing. There has to be a certain element of taste change. I hated all of it at first you just have to keep trying and your taste buds do get used to it. I know it's hard as an adult let alone a little one but just have to try all that you can. Shar are a fantastic brand though.

Hi I have been trying to find bread I like without much success, I'm wondering what are your thoughts on a Bread maker please.

I also recommend http://www.wheat-freebakerydirect.co.uk Their products really do taste like 'real' food. Their cheese and onion rolls and fruit bread are fantastic and so are the loaves of bread and rolls ... oh and the new flatbreads are sooo tasty dipped in soup, why make bread when you can have such good stuff delivered. !. It freezes very well too
Yvette T. replied:
Try wheat free bakery direct's bread. It's as close the the real thing as I ever had. It freezes well too. Their rolls are particularly good

Wheat free bakery are the best. I don't think bread makers work very well even for ordinary bread. We gave ours to a charity shop as we never used it. My husband makes his own bread (no gf) but it's better made by hand than in a bread maker.

Wheat free bakery direct doughnuts taste just like 'real' doughnuts (I think... Can't remember!) They say that they're not suitable for freezing but I freeze them anyway and they taste fine defrosted :)
