About us
We are a very small dog only shelter in rural middle TN. We will take owner surrenders when space allows, you will be required to pay a $50.00 fee to surrender your pet. Our primary focus is the intake of stray dogs and we try to reunite them with their family. On the occasions that their family can’t be found, or if the family is not interested in reclaiming their pet, we do all we can to find adoptive homes for them or place them with approved rescues.
As with all rural shelters in economically depressed areas, our adoption numbers aren’t very high so we strive to work with as many rescues as we can and we are always looking for more wonderful volunteers to help out the fur kids!
Adopting a friend
Our adoption fees are $45.00 plus the cost of spay/neuter and rabies. Please inquire about the procedure.
If a dog has already been spayed/neutered and had a rabies vaccine the the adoption fee is $125.00
Heartworm tests can been done for an additional $20.00
ABSOLUTELY NO ADOPTED ANIMAL LEAVES THE SHELTER UNALTERED
The pull fee for approved rescues will be reflective of the vetting a dog has received while at the shelter. Rescues do not need to be 501c3 to work with us!!
We are not affiliated with any rescue or shelter, however we do work with Rescues in order to save as many dogs from euthanasia as possible. We are not a No-Kill Shelter, although we try to place as many dogs possible with adopters and rescues.

Is anyone willing to take her in???Debbie M. replied:Tracy Deal Matthews and Kerra Bennett, that area is covered by White County Animal Shelter in Sparta, so please also post to their page and have Tracy's Mom notify them as well tomorrow, if can't be taken there tomorrow.
