Not only did 3 subcontractors walk off the job, my home was filled with cement dust, baseboards ruined and tile laid improperly. After 7 weeks without a kitchen, I hired someone new, who had to take up bad tile and install new. C2 is not taking responsibility for their subcontractors and refuse to pay me what is owed to fix the mistakes.

Not a huge job, just needed drywall installed, float and texture along with a few other minor jobs. We gave them our 50% on 5/29/15, they told us they would start the job the following Thursday (June 4th). Thursday came around...no one. So then they said Tuesdayish (June 8th), Tuesday came around...still no one. I ask for an update from Cassie and and she said she would contact me shortly, never got an update and she said she would contact me in the morning. (June 9th) I never received a call so I text her at 2 pm asking for an update. She replies with text you shortly...5pm I had to ask AGAIN. They say they are heading over in a bit. When they arrived to our house they said they were having another guy come in the morning to start at 8 am... Next morning (June 10th), at 10:30 the new guy gets here and just looks around and says he will start 8am tomorrow morning.... June 11th 8:40 am- no show....I text Cassie asking if they are starting today and her response was "as far as I know". She tells me Chuck will be handling everything today and that he was making decisions for the company last night and getting another crew on our job. But she just said as far as she knows someone was starting today...??? Which of course no one ever did. I expressed how frustrated I was with them and they tell me to bare with them and that Chuck would come by our house himself. Well Chuck never came by... June 12th - Still no one and when I text her telling her I was VERY frustrated, I asked her for Chucks number because she was not feeling well. She never gave it to me so I had to find other ways of getting it which I did. I called and text Chuck...nothing all day! I was being completely ignored by the both of them. That night I decided I wanted to fire them from the job they never started and I wanted my money back. They said they would meet me Monday morning to refund our money while going on to blame their subcontractor for everything pretty much. June 13th - I get a text from Cassie saying that they could start Wednesday morning on our job if we wanted to go ahead and move forward. Being that we just wanted this job done we decided to give them a second chance and they assured us communication would be better! BIG BIG BIG MISTAKE! Tuesday June 16th they let us know Home depot may not deliver (understandable because of the storm coming) I knew Wednesday wasnt going to be our start date due to weather so I was not mad about that. I asked Cassie Wednesday at 1 pm to confirm tomorrows start date. She said she would check. An hour later I asked again she said yes to confirm Thursday start date. June 18th, one guy came and did very little work and left with materials (we had already purchased) still there. I told them no supplies were delivered. They said they were coming by , hours later I text again asking if they were still coming by. They finally did but just ran in and out to see what was done. Then text me saying message you shortly...Never text me back so I text them no reply at all the rest of that day... June 19th - no one showed up to our house. I ask Cassie and she insisted a crew will be there... 2:45...no one. I text Cassie AGAIN and said I need to know 100% if a crew is coming to work on my house. She said she would call me in a minute. I was not able to take her call at the time so i asked her to text me, she said in a few minutes. No reply, I ask again. She said yes people will be coming tomorrow and continued to blame her subcontractor. I told her if thats the issue give me another sub. She said she would have to give me a new bid if they did that.... I was at my LIMITS with this. My husband and I had enough and told them we were done, we wanted our money back minus the amount their sub had already bought in materials since he was going to do the job for us. We still have not received our refund. They are ignoring me completely when I ask repeatedly. They have caused unnecessary stress in our household. Very unprofessional and they have a lot to learn about running a business. I could never recommend them to anyone. I dont know how the actual work is that they provide because well we never got any work completed from them. Another thing we received a call from Chuck and he left a VERY nasty VM saying the F word over and over again screaming because we continued to ask for our refund. They also took down their reviews on FB because there were to many bad ones.
