About us
Gel polish will last up to 2 weeks, some people will find it lasts a little less, some a little longer - it will depend on how oily your natural nail base is, how fast your nails grow and how active you are with your hands, excessive washing up, bleach, chemicals etc. When doing my own they last on average 10 days.
Nails will be prepped and a base coat is applied, then the coloured gel polish is applied and cured under a UV lamp, before a final top coat is applied leaving a high shine. Once your nails have been cured they will instantly be dry and chip free for up to 2 weeks. You will be able to rummage in your handbag straight away, without the worry of smudges or scuffs!
Once the gel polish is coming to the end of its life it will begin to lift at the edges, this makes for easy at home removal with the use of a cuticle stick and some normal nail polish remover (I will happily provide instructions on how to remove), best of all gel is no more damaging to your nails than normal polish.
Please note that I cannot do extensions with gel, I offer a gel polish paint on top of your own nail length.
