  PAID Comic Artist Needed! Hello all - I do some freelance writing for a corporate client who uses superhero themes in their marketing. They've asked me to write them a short, friendly, sales brochure in the form of an 6 page comic about their company 'saving the day.' The comic will be a 4x6 brochure, so pages need not have the detail of a full size comic, but the style must be friendly and charming. It's not the most THRILLING work in the world, but there is a page rate and you will be credited! What I need: - Someone who can work at a professional speed. Our original artist wasn't able to complete, and I don't have a ridiculous turnaround, but I will need someone who can work quickly and meet reasonable deadlines (ex: 6 rough page layouts in a week.) - Someone who works DIGITALLY. Corporate clients like to make changes, and working digitally will save us all time and headaches. - Someone who is a good communicator. I'll need someone who can send me an email every few days with updates. Also someone who reads emails and scripts in detail, so if you send me an email to apply, tell me your favorite superhero so I know you read this. - Someone who is friendly and professional. These are corporate people, and sometimes we artistic types have to smile when we don't want to when dealing with them. Thank you so much! We are looking for all different styles of art but it must be sequential and you must be able to tell a cohesive story from panel to panel and page to page. It's a modern day horror book in the slasher genre. The call is for new company, Vital Publishing. I've included a couple of covers for titles which will be re-launching in January 2015.   I would be interested in the project. I have worked steadily for the last 3 years for Viper, Pronto, GrayHaven, Domino and a couple of European publishers. I can provide references to editors and writers I have worked with. I can work digitally or traditionally and can take a script to any stage of completion you wish, including giving you back a fully painted, lettered PDF ready for the printer.
