  Hello Everyone, One of my 2nd grade private violin students is switching to cello. He is a bright, musical child who has played violin since preschool, so I would like him to have as nice a quality as he could have for a reasonable price as a beginner. I know he will transfer his skills well to cello. He will not have to transport it to school, so we won’t have that kind of concern. His mom played cello through high school & college. We are looking for a ½ size cello. Do you have any suggestions on make & where to obtain one? Specifically, do you know about the quality of a Leon Aubert cello (since they found one for sale)? I had bought some Saga cellos for school in about 2007 or so & I see they are not in great condition now. We would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks a bunch!
