I've been out of the saddle for about a year, because I just had a baby. I am currently riding with a friend in Warrenton who is a trainer, but am looking for something more structured.   Would like to find a trainer near Fredericksburg, as close to me as possible. I am in the Hartwood area. Have a few things I might need help with. I will be starting my pony more this spring, and depending on how things are going and how my back is doing, I might need to send her to someone for 30 days or so, to do the initial backing. I also have a TB gelding that I want to start writing this spring and summer, but he has been out of work since June of last year, so I might just want to send him to someone for a few weeks, to get him going again, before I start getting on him. or possibly just have someone come out to my place to ride him a few times, before I get on him. it is mostly that I am out of shape and have a lot of back problems, but I am a very experienced rider Who is just out of practice, from having children, I surgeries, etc. looking for someone who does English, predominantly Hunter, the pony from champion Hunter pony bloodlines. The TB was racing, but was doing steeplechasing, so he is used to trail rides, jumping, etc., and I believe he has nice Hunter movement, as well. if you of his half siblings are doing it venting. thank you and advance for any recommendations for trainers who might be near my area, that might be able to help me out.
