  Veterinarian Recommendations Hey all, I have a dachshund with a bad back (IVDD) who just had to have surgery. She's going to need some semi-regular vet care in the coming weeks, so I'm hoping someone might have a recommendation for a good vet with experience with dachshunds / back injuries. Her current vet is fine for regular check ups and the like, but I've had issues with him in the past with her back problems. The surgery wasn't done in Tampa, so I can't ask the clinic for suggestions. I'm in Seffner, so east side is most convenient, but I am willing to travel if you happen to know the dachshund whisperer.   Forget the rest, especially Dr Woodside (he is a monster, imho). The best vet is Dr Busciglio at Santa Cruz Animal Clinic in Brandon, 813-685-7751. He is very caring & a straight shooter when it comes to difficult problems. I've taken my animals to him for years and he has never lead me astray. Good luck with your doxie!
