Our farm is located just south off Pr. George. We raise grass fed beef, free range chicken and free range turkey.
CHICKEN: Our chicken are raised humanely and free range outdoors. TURKEY: Our turkey are raised humanely and free range outdoors. ETHICAL: Our calves are not weaned until they are at least 6 months old and spend at least two summers free ranging on pasture before they are slaughtered. We believe in second chances and any female who isn't successful during her first calving season gets another chance. NATURAL: No hormones, no pesticides, no artificial insemination GRASS FED: Our cattle free range in the summer, on 450 acres of bush and pasture. In the winter they are fed hay that we produce. they receive grain on cold days in the winter, but are not fed grain to fatten them for slaughter. This diet gives Garrendenny Beef its leanness and flavour. SUSTAINABLE: Raising our cattle does not deplete any resources. Garrendenny Farms has an Enviornmental Farm Plan and has ongoing beneficial management plants to further protect the environment from any damage due to cattle.
Does anyone know where I can order beef Sides or halves for the fall? Looking for field fed, no hormone or antibiotics, as close to organic as possible. Thanks.

I sell my local Pineview / buckhorn beef at the Farmer's Market on Third every Saturday. Grassfed, all natural, very lean. I should have sides available in the fall. https://www.facebook.com/GarrendennyFarms
Where is the cheapest place to buy beef? Particularly ground beef. I can't believe the prices !

I buy my ground beef from Garrendenny's farm. They're at the UNBC farmer's market and it's $3.50 a lb. I really like it https://www.facebook.com/GarrendennyFarms
