  If a adult doctor is needed over saturday or Sunday is the best option straight to a &e. Possible for a parent with a chest cough and getting worse for breathing and not better in last days. Not serious enough for an ambulance but since they are 73+ want to be careful. If a &e where is there one in Nurnberg or lauf an der pegnitz ? Only know the kids ones. Hope we do not need it but as back up. Thanks in advance .

  I have a pretty bad sore throat, fever, body aches and am looking for the Sunday/after hours doctor for today. I used the medical resources section on this website but it returned no results for Erlangen. I see you can call 116117 but I don't think it's as serious as someone needing to come to the house. Does anyone know what's the best thing to do? We live in zentrum. Close to the hospital.

  The after hours medical centre is on Bauhofstr. http://www.notfallpraxis-erlangen.de/ . No appointment needed, just go along. GPs take turns on being on duty. Gute Besserung!
