Big flavors. Warm, relaxing atmosphere. Friendly faces. That’s Porterhaus.
Legend has it that the Porterhouse steak was first served in 1814 when the proprietor of Morrison's Porter House on Pearl Street, New York ran out of steaks with a hungry customer at the door. Rather than turn the patron away he cut into the meat being saved for the family. Cut from the short loin, it was delicious and the rest is history.
At Porterhaus we serve big portions inspired from the classic American generosity and aim to create a legend of our own, one patron at a time.
We have a soft spot for hearty, robust fare. And we love our tipple. You’ll find us serving the same – from full bodied soups and well cooked meals to the finest of malts, wines and a wide range of beverages.
With a superbike friendly parking right outside our big glass windows, you’ll find that the mood of our little bistro reflects a subtle opulence reminiscent of the US East Coast. With around fifty seats, we strive to keep you rested as you wind down and dig in.
