  Yes, when Comcast works correctly, it works well. That may have been a line problem, bad underground cable issue or other component failure, which may have been correctable. The closer you are located to the telephone company switch, the faster the maximum speed available. If prism or u-Verse, they are comparable to cable internet, different technology to dsl. If you have speed issues, I never charge to determine the solution and start with calling the provider to determine speed of service purchased and request they do a line test. If you need to check your internet speed, visit http://www.thevillagescomputerrepair.com and look in the bottom left and right corners of any page. I have four separate options for checking your speed.
