  Hi. I'm hoping to get to one of your swims over the winter if possible. Just wondering do I need to be a member or be invited or can I just turn up? Any info about the swim would be helpful as I've never been. Is the leisure centre large? Is there a canteen - clothed or nude? How many people usually go? Ratio of men/women - don't want to be the only girl. Any other info? Thanks.

  There is no membership you just pay £6:50 at the door and go through the turnstile and the ladies changing room is the left door and the mans changing room on the right, but they are mixed changing rooms, normally women and men go to left changing room when there are a couple. We have two lifeguards sometimes they are one female and one male. We have a good mixture man and woman different age groups, from toddlers to 80-year-olds there. Each time the swim is on, we have about 80 to 100 come. When you come you notice a difference on when people come and it varies on a mixture of people we get. The people are friendly there and will make you welcome. There is a poor side cafe, they do chips cobs and hot/ cold drinks and biscuits and the lady serving its always professional and friendly.
