About us

The Great Ouse Ferry is a volunteer programme, running mainly from the Brampton Mill to Godmanchester.
Pick up points are at the Brampton Mill & the Chinese Bridge in Godmanchester.
Whilst enjoying the wildlife that is on the river you can bring your own picnic and drinks, or stop off and have lunch at the Mill or in one of the many pubs in Godmanchester.
If you are feeling a little more energetic, take a one way ticket and either walk to or back from the Mill following the river footpath.
The ferry is also available for private functions and can include trips to Houghton, St. Ives, Buckden & further.

Recommended donations towards the upkeep of the ferry:
One way or round trip (Adult) - £3.00
Child - £1
A one way trip lasts approximately 20-30 minutes.
