  I live in the area of Montauk State Park i can't believe the litter i continue to see on the sides of the road, just came home and had to pick up a mcdonalds bag that someone just threw out on the road!   Any public lands manager will tell you after the rain the trash comes. Typically from roads. Disposable one time use items: plastic bottles, styrofoam cups, cigarette butts, cigarette packaging.
