He has no key for it and has to "Hot Wire" it. Our local locksmith can not make the key. We are looking for someone who can make the key OR someone who has a Electro Lock Igination switch, THREE prong with the key. This is for a 1930 Chevy Universal. The install kit has been on back order the whole time, and they they have no idea when they will get it. Also, they will not pay to ship the gears back. Any ideas on where I can get an install kit that will work?Christian S. replied:Ive had luck in the past at www.fillingstation.com Part# FS-782A. If you can’t find a kit then sourcing the bearings and bushings individually may be quicker. Also, I never found anyone who had the shims available. It wasn’t a big deal for me as I was just rebuilding the original instead of a new ring/pinion. But you should be able to get shims made at a local machine shop, or maybe custom ordered from McMaster if you know the diameters. If you want to source individually let me know as I think I have all the bearing numbers.
