Do you like arts and crafts? Do you make crafts or know anyone else who does? Do you run or support a local charity? You might be interested in this…. We are organising a series of Craft Fairs in Morpeth Town Hall in 2015, on the following dates: Saturday 2nd May , Saturday 13th June , Saturday 11th July, Saturday 8th August , and Saturday 5th December . As the main organiser, I am not looking to personally make money from the organisation of these events, but to cover the cost of the hire of the Town Hall whilst promoting Morpeth/local arts and crafts whilst also providing an opportunity for Morpeth-based or local charities to receive some benefit. I plan to use any additional monies raised from the organisation in order to promote and publicise the events. (Posters, fliers and a person with a sandwich board on the day!) On each of the dates mentioned, two Morpeth-based or local charities will be able to have a stall each free of charge in the Town Hall, in order to raise money in whichever way you choose…selling goods, tombola etc. During the June fair there is an opportunity for a charity to raise funds by providing tea, coffee and refreshments and the kitchen will be paid for on your behalf.
We are hoping that the events will be well supported, and in fact the public will not be charged to enter their own Town Hall (Something I have always felt strongly about)
Please feel free to ask any questions and to in box me if you are interested, on behalf of your charity. Dates will be confirmed on a first come first served basis. Many thanks in advance.
Anyone who would like a stall...the charge is £15 per table per event.
