  For kids I'd suggest http://taylorvisionandlearning.com/. They aren't cheap but really good with kids & good about helping vision get better not worse, Kate Barnard Held. Last I was there they offered discounts on glasses but i still usually take my prescription elsewhere after the exam. For a good selection of adult frames Visionworks in Catonsville was good & have good coupons.
