Ones that come to mind for me are: Intown Ace Hardware Farmer D's Oakhurst Community Garden (Wylde Center) DeKalb Extension Service Community Gardens at Medlock Park, North DeKalb Mall, and on Lavista Road I used to love Habersham Gardens off Cheshire Bridge, but the garden center went out of business and the only do landscape design now. :( I like Garden*Hood in Cabbagetown, but it's a bit far afield. Pikes and Home Depot are *fine* but not particularly exciting or interesting. Where could one direct newbies to additional garden-related coolness nearby?

  So the outlet is really an outlet. Open warehouse with different inventory each time. They keep a list on the website, but it changes http://www.growersoutlet.com. It opens for spring next week. Weekends are super busy, so make a day of it. :) Always good, sometimes crazy cheap prices. I've always had my plants live if I planted within a day or two if bringing home. Happy bargain hunting! :)
