  Thermoworks Smoke. But don't buy from Amazon, they're knock-offs. Check out their web site. www.Thermoworks.com Also, if you want to add the functionality of a controller along with the temp probes, check out the Flame Boss and the soon to be released Ikamand from KJ.

  Just used my thermoworks Smoke for the first time tonight. Works great! Highly recommended. Only buy it off there site though. They only warranty if purchased through them.

  The ThermoPop ($50) from ThermoWorks is a great temp probe with a backlit LCD if you don't want to spend the green on a Superfast ThermoPen ($120).

  Any thermometer from thermoworks. Best accuracy tolerance in the biz! Most other digital thermometers can be upwards of 7 degrees off! Even maverick has a +- 4 degree variance.
