Welcome! Wiggle Worms Children’s Resale & Boutique is Amelia Island’s premier upscale children’s and maternity consignment boutique. We offer a great selection of high-end gently-used children’s clothing and baby gear as well as maternity clothing, fashion accessories and new gift items. Wiggle Worms is a locally owned, family operated business. Our Mission is to offer great quality at affordable prices. Our Goal is to help your wallet and the planet by reducing and reusing!
General Information:
~ Clothing Guidelines ~
* freshly laundered
* free of stains, holes, pet hair and from a smoke-free home
* must be in season and of current style
We carry such boutique brands as; Bailey Boys, Cach Cach, Lilly Pulitzer, Baby Lulu, Baby Nay, Rosalina, Kelly's Kids, Kissy Kissy, Kate Mack, Hartstrings, Anavini, Petit Ami, Catamini as well as great name brands like Gymboree, Gap, Ralph lauren, Carters and much more!
~ Toy Guidelines ~
* must be in good condition, clean and in good working order
* toys/games/puzzles with multiple parts should not be missing any important pieces
* battery-operated toys should have working batteries installed
* if you have the original packaging, please bring it in
* We accept popular title children's books and videos/DVDs. Books must be in decent condition with no torn or missing pages.
~ Gear~
We accept gear as space allows. Please call before bringing in the following items: Strollers, backpack carriers, high chairs, bouncy seats, etc. These items should be given a good cleaning before they are brought in. Please check the wheels of the strollers for dried mud etc. and make sure fabric is free of noticeable stains. Due to safety and liability concerns, we cannot accept second hand car seats.
Gear Guidelines:
* All gear must be less than 5 years old. Whenever possible, please include the owner's manual and assembly instructions.
* Baby gear is often recalled for minor problems. Please do a quick recall search before bringing items in to save yourself... show more trouble transporting them in the event there has been a recall. You can do a search on the Consumer Product Safety Commission web site: http://www.cpsc.gov/.
CONSIGNMENT FAQ
Q: When can I bring in consignment?
You may bring your items at any time, but we do recommend calling the store to confirm what season clothing we are taking and our current needs.
Q. What happens when I bring my consignment in?
-Bring in your gently used brand name clothing and accessories.
-While you check out the latest styles in the store, we will review your items.
-We will accept items based on style, condition, brand and the store’s current stock levels.
UNSOLD CLOTHING, TOYS AND BOOKS WILL NOT BE RETURNED TO CONSIGNORS.
Q. Do you accept charitable donations?
Yes! Any items that you bring in that we do not accept for consignment can be donated to local churches, shelters and charities. Donation slips are available on request.
Q. How long does it take for my consignment to be made available for sale?
In most cases it will be 1-5 days, depending on the amount of consignment that is currently being processed.
Q. How much money do I receive for my consignment?
Once your items sell, you will receive 50% of the sale price. You may use your balance in the store or receive a check at your convenience!
