Hello :) Thanks for the add! I'm a Lansing entrepreneur and technologist (fancy word for coder).
I'm looking for feedback on my new company, Klubcams, which offers a new way for businesses to set up live streams of their businesses to connect with their local audience and customers.
If you were to set up a live stream for your business, how would you expect to set it up?
Any business that has tried to do this, knows it is complicated and pretty expensive. I've serviced both of these pain points by dropping the overhead of such a service over 10 times. Traditionally, it's hundreds per month of hosting, and easily can be over $1000 to set it up initially even if you do it by yourself.
Klubcams is less than $200 to start up including the first month of hosting, and hosting is only $15/month there after.
What I really need some feedback on is how a business would set it up. So far there are two peices to the set up: An IP camera, and a micro computer.
I'm trying to build in as many ways as possible for a business to set up the Klubcam. From a web browser on another computer or by plugging the micro computer into a TV and using the web browser that comes on the device, are the two ways a business can set it up.
