I went there twice to get measured and we went over what I expected to be done. In fact this was five months before my wedding date and I asked to get them back the beginning of August (8/7/21). She said that’s be no problem at all! July 27th I texted her asking how my dresses are she didn’t touch them yet she responded and asked when my wedding is again , saying she has 18 more dresses to do before mine & that she can do the best she can. So I reminded her, I do still need them the first week of August like originally planned. She continued to say that she wasn’t expecting to be slammed with orders etc. I let it be an hopped for the best to come. Monday, August 9th I messaged her as I never got a respond yet from her and pickup was suppose to aug 7th. So I asked “Are my dresses ready for pickup? Penny says “ The one is done “ as I responded, “ I need them done by Friday, if they’re done or not….As I told you before I needed them to be done by aug 7th.” Tuesday the 10th she texted me saying they’re all done ready for pickup. She was up all night long fixing them. As I respond Perfect … I work hours and couldn’t make it during the week day so I asked if my father could grab them. I already paid for them so they just needed to get picked up. She gave him and I a VERY hard time about pickup and couldn’t even find my dresses & requesting an extra $100 from my father. Later that day, I pick them up from my dad yet to know she thrown them into a trash bag with an additional dress! At that point I was pissed. I gave both dresses to her in nice zip up dress bags. I took them out and tried one on. It wouldn’t even go past my shoulders. So I tired pulling it up instead slipped my feet though and what do you know it didn’t pass my butt. It obviously fit me when I was there I put them both on so she can measure me and I actually lost weight within time as I was 4 months PP when I dropped them off. She Penny tightened my dress when I DIDN’T tell her to tighten any dress at all! It looked like a total hack job on top of the fact it was so uneven in SO many places! Like she put scissors to it and called it done. My second dress (main statement) she added straps to it and I could hardly fit my arm into; let alone raise my arms. She didn’t add the cups as requested and the bustle wasn’t how I asked for it to be done. At this point Im rushing around trying to find someone to fix TWO dresses within a week do time! Lucky, I was able to find such a lady. She was disgusted! She couldn’t even save the first dress. The second dress Penny didn’t hem it at all. The straps had to be removed and the bustle had to be taken off and redone correctly. But that’s not the best of it! The third dress I mentioned above she gave me. I had to text her about it and ask if someone is looking for it. I told her I can return this black dress and I will without a doubt. She gave me a very difficult time when I’m only trying to fix her own mistake of giving me this dress. She Penny told me I stole this dress , she’s going to call the police on me if I do not return it by noon today, she’s going to sue me for harassment etc texting bombing me just saying how I’m such a bad person I’m running another brides day etc. How she has the guts to speak to me when she ruined my dresses worth over $3,000!! I did return this dress with my now husband. She claims I haven’t and she’s still harassing me and my father. To the point she is now barging in to my fathers business yelling at his workers saying I haven’t returned this dress. Days after returning! To the lady with this black dress I hope you’ve received it and it came out better then mine. I hope you have the perfect day!
