My nephew who was living in my 5th wheel has died. I need to have it completely cleaned and will do some updating. To those of you who have removed carpeting and put down hard flooring, what kind did you use? Also, what is the "cocktail" used in the tanks to clean and sanitize them? Any other suggestions you may have would be appreciated. This is a very sad time for me but I need to do this. TIA UPDATE: thank you to all of your for your posts of sympathy and condolences. You have given me ideas for flooring and tank cleaning. To ANN BOWEN WHO SUGGESTED the RV should be sold simply because the person who had lived in it died, I say "What were you thinking?". I have lost two husbands and a son. Was I supposed to sell all my homes simply because a loved one died? At 82 I simply can not get into all the nooks and crannies to clean and I am doing no more then I would do to ready any home where someone no longer lived. My nephew was 70 and died instantaneously and NOT in the bed of the RV! It was not a crime scene and requires no more then the cleaning anyone would give to a home that was no longer occupied. Once again ., Thank you to all who responded to my question about flooring and the tank cleaning.
