  I did not have a good experience with Benedicts four years ago. We were supposed to have our wedding reception (50 ish people) there, and they would not return phone calls/faxes/emails for over 5 months. We ended up doing it ourselves - my husband is a chef, so we pulled it off - but were VERY disappointed to have to make that decision 10 days out, and have that additional stress. :/ I was recently there for breakfast on a Saturday (the first time since the wedding debacle), and a 15-20 minute wait ended up being 45+ minutes, and several parties that came in after me were seated (same or larger size). I've heard that Park Place through the Park District is lovely, and I was very impressed with D'Andrea's when I attended an event in February.

  Main and West Beach both have been utilized for showers. Park Place is a beautiful facility and can accommodate showers large and small. Colonel Palmer House has recently begun booking luncheon teas including baby and bridal showers.

  Hi Taylor. I was going to say the Park Place, but I love Deana Marchionne 's idea of the CL Brewery. We had a big family Thanksgiving dinner at the Johnsburg Community Hall a couple of years ago. It was perfect for our needs. And the guy I worked with was fantastic.

  I had one of my daughter's showers at Crystal Lake Park Dist. Park Place. It was wonderful !!!

  Crystal Lake Park District is taking online applications only. Go to their website - www.crystallakeparks.org. Click on GENERAL tab. Go to Employment and select Applitrack. Set up your profile and complete your application. If you go in to apply they will give you the above info to do it online.
