First off, thanks for everyone who has sent me messages about the passing of my father to myself and my sister. Cancer is a bitch, no doubt about it. Life can turn on a dime, hold and love those close to you always.
Anyway, after being away 6 weeks and returning back to lovely old NJ yesterday - I noticed when I backed my car out of the garage that a bunch of thin rusty metal like pieces were left behind. I don't know much about cars, but that isn't a good sign ;) If I had to guess part of my brakes, car has 50k miles but already had 40k when I bought it from Rt23 Automall (shouts to Scott Barna). Question is, anyone have a local garage they prefer and/or trust for brake work? I have my obvious Pep Boys which is right next to my job in Paterson, and Midas and Meineke, but who rips who off I don't know. Go local or chain shop? Thoughts appreciated!
I know computers and apple products, I don't know cars :(
