  This is quite a wide question, but thought I would give it a shot. We are in search of an independent P&C insurance person. We are really small-fry clients, with just renters insurance and two vehicles, but we still prefer the idea of dealing with someone that is not a tied agent. I know, this is somewhat unusual for USA and it does sort of hanker towards the idea of an independent broker back in the days of Cape Town, but I thought I would give it a shot. We have set up in Bothell and would like to know if you deal with an insurance agent you are willing to refer. It would be preferable that this person has been in the industry for a good while. Nothing like a personal referral, right.
